The Importance of Rodent Removal

Mice & Rats aren’t very well liked animals. Most people are scared (grossed out) at the thought of a rat, running across their kitchen floor. Grown men can end up screaming, holding their ears and dancing on top of the table when a mouse brushes their foot. We’ve seen it happen.

As silly as it seems, there’s good reasons for this sort of natural reaction. The fact is, Mice and Rats by nature, are perfect for harboring and transporting diseases. A growing rodent infestation in your home or office is very serious business!

We specialize in humane rodent trapping, interior/exterior damage repair, hazardous decontamination and rodent containment. Whether your issue is residential, or commercial, we can provide you with a lasting solution!

What Makes Us Different From Pest Control Companies?

We are not exterminators! We do not use poison unless every other option has been exhausted. The main reason, besides being inhumane, is that after consuming poison, rodents have absolutely no control over where they die.

Call any Exterminator and they will try to say that, “After consuming poison, mice and rats go outside for water and die.” In all our years in business, we have yet to hear any other response, and it’s fundamentally incorrect!

They don’t tell you that most homes have enough condensation on the pipes in your walls to support a rodent colony. Or that, even if they could make it outside to die, they’ve just succeeded in putting your pets, or your neighbors pets in contact with poison filled rodents. If consumed, your dog or cat would also be poisoned through secondary toxicity and are likely to experience serious or fatal consequences.

Poisons are Inhumane! Most poisons used in modern pest control are anticoagulants. They work by thinning the animals blood, making them slowly bleed to death and die.

We field 10-15 calls per week when someone has a dead animal smell in the walls. Everyone that calls is asked the same question, “Do you have an exterminator that puts out mouse poison?” Nearly 95% of the time they do.

In almost every instance where we have to cut open a hole in the wall, a dead mouse was the cause of the unbearably pungent smell. The homeowners never believe it until they see, “all that smell came from a teeny tiny mouse!”

Maybe worst of all, if you’re unlucky enough to have a rat eat poison and die inside your home, you can expect hundreds of fly’s to show up to feast!
